The Lady Neville recreation ground is named after the wife of a local High Court judge who purchased the land in 1895 when it was put up for sale as building plots. The couple’s daughter, Miss Edith Neville gifted the land to the parish as a recreation ground in 1925.
Ideally located, just off Banstead High Street, the recreation ground houses a cricket club, bowling green and a newly refurbished multi use games and play area. Tennis is free at Lady Neville and there is no need to book, just turn up and play.
At the cafe, not only do we make and sell great tasting food and beverages, we also have a wonderful soft play area for young children. So come along, relax and enjoy time chatting with your friends and family while your little ones have a fun time too!
The soft-play is FREE for one hour per child when you spend over £5 in our cafe, otherwise, its £2 per child per hour. For two children, we ask you to spend over £10 or pay £2 for your extra child.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
