Spring in London and Surrey is finally beginning to feel like it has arrived with longer daylight hours and some warmer sunshine.

Throughout our London and Surrey parks, daffodils and crocuses are vibrantly making an appearance; what better way to enjoy the new season than get out and about and enjoy the wildlife as it wakes up.

The month of March is a busy month here at Pistachio’s in the Park, not only for the outdoor wildlife but also for our Pistachio’s in the Park cafes, too. With some important dates to remember throughout the month, we have lots of reasons why you can celebrate spring in London and Surrey by visiting our parks and café’s.

Spring in London and Surrey – What’s on during March 2020

On Monday 22nd March is Mother’s Day.  Our Pistachio’s in the Park cafes will be celebrating in many ways by baking some special treats, so bring your mum, aunt, nan or carer along to one of our London and Surrey cafes and treat her to a bite to eat, followed by a nice cup of tea or coffee. We offer lots of choice in both food and beverages and will tailor to all dietary requirements, so please join us to mark the occasion of Mothering Sunday.

On the 27th March, some schools across the UK will be breaking up for Easter holidays whilst others will finish the following week – 3rd April.  Don’t forget that our London and Surrey parks are FREE and open throughout the school Easter holidays.  They are a great place to visit and take your younger ones to run around and let off some energy and many offer play equipment, fitness apparatus and beautiful walks, so please bring a picnic or enjoy a snack in one of our Pistachio’s in the Park cafes and have a great day out.

On the 29th March the clocks will go forward until 25thOctober 2020.  This date marks the beginning of British summertime (BST) to mark the occasion why not enjoy a day out at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich https://www.rmg.co.uk/royal-observatory# – home to Greenwich meantime you can find out more about how the meridian line and GMT time works.
