Whilst the nights may be drawing in and the anticipation of the clock change is upon us for Sunday 27th October. In contrast, October is an autumnal month where so many colours ignite around us. From the changes in nature and the production of a fruitful harvest and seasonal vegetables, to colorful autumnal arts and crafts and Halloween parties; October is a month of fun for everyone.
If you’ve had the opportunity over the last few weeks to walk around any of our London and Surrey Parks, then you will notice how the leaves on the trees are changing in colour and in doing so are beginning to fall. Our London and Surrey Park trees really are a ‘must see’ at this time of year when our UK autumn season can be celebrated in its full natural glory. The different species of trees vary in many warm colours and shades of green, yellow, orange and red, enjoyed not only by us but the the natural wildlife which uses them as habitats and as a great food supply.
Here at our Pistachio’s in the Park cafes we pride ourselves on the ingredients that we source from local farms and producers. That means that this month, if you pop into one of our Pistachio’s in the park café’s, you’ll find some delicious home cooked food on the menu using this season’s ingredients such as autumnal soups and cakes.
In addition, our café’s will be holding a variety of fun activities for the kids throughout half term and in the lead up to the Halloween festivities, so if you and the children are looking for something to do this month without spending too much, then please come and join us at Pistachio’s in the Park, we will be delighted to meet you. For further information please see our individual café website pages and social media feeds to find out what’s on.
